With two decades of tradition, the restaurant further south of Portugal, is named after the popular Alentejo word. “À-do-João” is located on Ilha do Farol, Cabo de Stª Maria, where the Ria Formosa meets the Atlantic Ocean.

At the edge of Praia do Farol, with stunning views of the sea or the Ria Formosa, the “À-do-João” space is an essential gastronomic reference in the Algarve. The fish and seafood served are of wild origin and prepared in order to enhance their freshness and true flavors. In the vast menu, the most common species in the area are highlighted, such as the Robalo, Sargo and Corvina, and in the seafood the bivalves are highlighted, namely the clams, from the Ria, and the Conquilha captured in the local Sea.

“À-do-João” offers a new experience, when it comes to eating the best that the sea gives us, with a view and the sound of the waves. A place of salt air where the tide itself returns twice a day.
