Budapeste . Margitsziget Island . Hungria

The Chimera-Project is a showcase of contemporary art. Thematic exhibitions are held throughout the year highlighting relevant artistic and social topics. The gallery is the initiative of Swiss art historian and curator Patrick Urwyler and Hungarian sociologist Bogi Mittich. The Chimera-Project promotes a diverse range of international and local talents. Works by leading Slovakian artist Viktor Frešo (Skydivers, Brides & Wheels), black and white prints by Hungarian artist Gábor Koós (Fingerprints), objects by Péter Kerekes (The Intolerable Image), and many more artists have already been featured at this must-visit Budapest art gallery. The Chimera-Project is made possible through international collaboration by introducing global artists in Budapest and showcasing Hungarian talent globally.
