Cvernovka is a defunct former thread factory near the centre of Bratislava. A Czech developer bought the space, wanted to tear factory down and build new offices and apartments. Due to the financial crisis, the space has been preserved and has turned into Bratislava's current hipster central. Cvernovka houses art, design and architecture studios, creative agencies, a gallery, hosts events.
