Established in 1996. This gallery presents contemporary art of both Slovak and foreign artists.
The major activity of the gallery is exhibiting international sculpture and objects. While the gallery has indoor sculpture space, it tends to install art from the gallery around different parts of the Old Town.
It has organized over 130 exhibitions featuring the word of more than 1,500 artist from 33 countries.
The "Z" comes from the name of the building in which the gallery is located - Zichy Palace (Zichyho Palac).
