This museum/gallery is devoted to a Hungarian contemporary sculptor, Imre Varga. Heavily favored throughout the ‘70s, Varga's name is well-known all over Europe. His art can be seen at many of Budapest's attractions, such as the Holocaust Memorial and the Raoul Wallenberg Monument.

A short distance southwest of the museum is one of Varga's other work, a group of metal sculptures of women holding umbrellas.
