Karel Zeman’s world of 20th century film tricks. A unique interactive exhibition: photographing the exhibit is encouraged! Introducing the entire body of work from the internationally acclaimed film producer, as well as his film tricks which made Czech cinematography famous. Exhibition mapping out Zeman’s work from his early animations and puppet films in the 1940s, up to his last creative period. A large portion of the exhibit is focused on his major films – Journey to the Beginning of the Time, An Invention for Destruction and Baron Munchausen. The museum is unique for its playful exhibit design. It offers an opportunity to try out the methods Zeman used with your own photo and video cameras.

Commemorating the first anniversary of the museum's opening and in cooperation with the Barrandov Studio, the current exhibition will be expanded with original costumes from Zeman’s films. The exhibition will showcase costumes from the Deadly Invention, The Fabulous Baron Munchausen and On the Comet. Most of the costumes featured appeared in The Stolen Airship whose digitized edition is planned by the Museum at the end of this year. Showcasing a selection of suits, dresses, nightgowns worn by unforgettable actors including Miloš Kopecký, Jana Brejchová, Magda Vašáryová and other Czech and Slovak stars.
