This museum, as largest Carnival museum in the German speaking region, presents the history and diversity of Carnival from ancient times and the Middle Ages to modern day. Exhibition pieces such as procession trucks and costume dolls, audio and video installations give a lively impression of the "Fifth Season" – from street processions to alternative Carnival.
